Hardware

• PowerBook G4 15" 800 MHz - I converted in May 2002, and I've never looked back.
• iPod 10 GB (old school version) - I love my music.
• Mitsubishi Diamond Plus 71 - An aging 17" monitor that still serves as my second display. I love having two displays.
• Nikon Coolpix 2500 - It takes great pictures outside, but I am disappointed by its flash performance.
• Microsoft Notebook Optical Mouse - It's tiny and surprizingly comfortable.

Software

• Mac OS X 10.3 (Panther) - Of course.
• Debian Linux - I dual boot my PowerBook.
• NetNewsWirel Lite - I really should buy the damned thing.
• Fire - Merges all my IM services into one.
• Scintilla - My favourite cross-platform text editor.
• Bash Shell - I can't survive without a command line.
• GCC - For all my compilation needs.
• Python - For all my high level programming needs.
• Perl - For text manipulation and quick shell scripts.
• OmniGraffle - When I need to create diagrams.
• OpenSSH - Essential for remote system administration.
• Fugu - A beautiful Mac OS X frontend to scp for secure file transfer.
• rsync - The only way to mirror files.
• Ethereal - Great for debugging networks and network applications, and stealing passwords on wireless links.
• Gimp - When I need to twiddle with images.
