This is an unusual story that is written as if it were a diary kept by the main character. This makes it hard to follow at times, but it really helps you get inside the character's head. It manages to be both very funny and very serious, in a way that sort of reminds me of Douglas Coupland's books. The main character is a terrible person, but I couldn't help sympathizing with him anyway. Overall, the book is very good and I strongly recommend it.
